Booking & Deposits

Appointments are confirmed only after the project direction, placement, and timing have been reviewed. A deposit may be required to hold your session and begin design preparation. Deposits are applied toward the final tattoo price and are not treated as a separate fee.

Because each booking reserves studio time and creative focus, deposits are not refundable. If you need to reschedule, please get in touch as early as possible. Missed appointments, late cancellations, or major changes made too close to the session may require a new deposit.

Design Process

Each design is created for one body, one placement, and one moment. References are welcome as a way to communicate atmosphere, proportion, and direction, but the final work will be interpreted through AXE’s visual language.

Designs are usually prepared close to the appointment so the idea stays precise and responsive to the body. Small refinements can be discussed before tattooing begins. A complete change of concept, placement, scale, or subject may require a new booking rhythm.

Your Appointment

Please arrive rested, hydrated, and on time. Eat before your session and wear clothing that gives comfortable access to the placement area. The studio is private and focused; guests are not always suitable for the pace of the appointment.

If you are running late or feeling unwell, contact the studio as soon as possible. Arriving unable to proceed safely may mean the appointment has to be moved. The goal is always a calm session where the body, the design, and the work can receive full attention.

Touch-ups & Healing

Healing is part of the work. Follow the aftercare instructions given at the end of your appointment and allow the tattoo to settle before judging its final appearance. Skin changes during healing, and patience is essential.

If a touch-up is needed, send clear healed photos once the tattoo has fully settled. Touch-ups are reviewed case by case. Work that has been heavily neglected, re-injured, exposed too early, or altered by another artist may fall outside the usual touch-up process.

Health & Safety

Please share any relevant health considerations before booking, including skin conditions, allergies, pregnancy, medication, recent procedures, or anything that may affect healing. This helps decide whether the project can proceed safely and whether timing should be adjusted.

The studio may decline or postpone an appointment if tattooing does not feel safe for your body on the day. This is not personal; it is part of protecting the work and your experience.

Portfolio & Copyright

Tattoo work may be photographed or filmed for portfolio use unless privacy is discussed in advance. Images help document healed work, placement, texture, and the ongoing studio archive.

Custom designs are created for the client they are tattooed on. They should not be copied, reproduced, sold, or taken to another artist. Likewise, references from other artists are used only to understand direction, not to duplicate someone else’s work.

Privacy

Project details, body placement, personal information, and communication are handled with care. Information shared through the booking form is used to understand the request, arrange the appointment, and communicate about the project.

If there is anything you would prefer not to be shown publicly, please say so before the appointment. Privacy needs are respected, and the conversation is always easier when it happens early.
